TO PURCHASE
To inquire about or purchase a puppy of your choice you must fill out our questionnaire (see questionnaire page on my webiste) then you may email, phone us or use the U.S. Postal Service .
METHOD OF PAYMENT
- Cashiers Check or Money Order only;
You must take the money order or cashiers check to the post office and request a tracking number and that it be
signed for upon delivery. Without this tracking number I cannot hold a puppy for you;
- No personal Checks, without personal approval from the seller;
- A $200 deposit is required to reserve the puppy of your choice;
- All deposits are non-refundable and you must put down a deposit to hold a puppy;
- The balance owed on your pet must be paid in full one week prior to delivery; and
- Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer (seller will set up the shipping) and must be paid prior to shipping.
SHIPPING / DELIVERY
Understand that it is my discretion as to when I will ship a puppy. The usual age is 8-12 weeks. A puppy may not be ready for shipping at 12 weeks. I may need to extent the time of shipment a week or two. Shipping is very stressful on a puppy therefore, even though you have paid in full, I will only ship when in my opinion, the puppy is strong enough to handle the stress. I will contact you and explain the situation if this should happen.
For the welfare of the puppy we don’t ship our puppies until the age of 8 weeks or older depending on the size.
Puppies are shipped via airlines, or ground transportation
Delivery is typically made via counter to counter service through an appropriate airline. Puppies travel in a pressurized compartment. During his/her travel adventure your puppy will be in a comfortable, reusable pet taxi.
You are welcome to pick your puppy up in person. We can also meet you at the airport if you wish to fly in to pick up your puppy. This enables you to carry your puppy on the plane with you if you wish.
All puppies arrive with a certified health certificate assuring the puppy’s health.
Puppies will not be shipped during extreme weather conditions.
With increased gas prices we will only be shipping on Fridays. This allows for us to keep the cost of shipping as low as possible for our customers.
PUPPY CARE package consists of:
- Registration and Contract;
- Pet taxi (if puppy is being shipped);
- Avid microchip --personal Identification already in place - please see new micro-chip policy;
- Veterinary Health Certificate and Health record.
Microchip placement and registration
Previously I placed the chip and sent the customer the registration information. It cost the customer $20.00 to register the chip in their name. I have gotten called when a puppy got lost because the registration was not filed in the new owners name.
The new policy is:
My veterinarian will place the chip in the puppy, scan the chip, and register the chip number in the new owners name for an additional fee of $15.00. Therefore, the puppy will come with a chip that is already in registered in your name.
